I am currently a 1st grade teacher with San Diego Unified School District. Previously, I substitute taught in elementary schools K-6, including Special Ed. I have held four long-term substitute positions, one in 3rd grade, one in TK, one in a 2/3rd grade combo, one in K, and have loved every second of it. My previous contracted teaching experience was in Las Vegas, NV where I taught Kindergarten for two years, and then 2nd grade for three years. I took a few years off when my family and I moved back to California and I had my second child. I have transferred my credential over to Californina and now have a Clear Multiple Subject credential. Once my firstborn started Kindergarten, I decided to get back into teaching and have been so excited to be back. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all different classrooms, schools, districts, and styles of teaching. I feel it has given me greater experience and more learning opportunities to become a better educator.
