1. Leads Boston climate campaign - works with staff and volunteers to develop campaign plan and budget, outlining strategies and tactics to achieve goals, identifying opportunities to advance diversity, equity and inclusion. Oversees implementation of the plan, evaluates the success of campaign goals. 2. Builds strategic partnerships with local organizations to create shared goals and aligned campaign objectives; Assists in convening and facilitating local coalitions made up of climate, environmental justice, labor, faith, youth, social and racial justice organizations, and research and academia partners. 3. Organized a floating protest on the Charles River in Boston as part of a nationwide day of against Shell Oil's drilling explorations in the Arctic Ocean, urging the Obama Administration to revoke the permits - recruited participants, secured kayaks, coordinated signage, and social media toolkit, prepared media advisory and press release 2. Conducted research on local plastic bag ban ordinances in Massachusetts municipalities and prepared a comprehensive database and educational materials for the Chapter's website 3.
