Coordinated multiple meetings with the President of the United States, 12 leading CEOs, and other high-ranking government officials in the US and foreign countries. • Repeatedly secured millions of dollars in economic incentives for various Xerox facilities and operations.• Following Xerox’s $6.4B acquisition of Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) in 2010, led the successful integration effort to consolidate and standardize two distinctly different government affairs departments. • Provide oversight for all high-profile Xerox CEO engagements in public policy-related trade associations. Coordinated corporate philanthropic activities and managed more than $14M in charitable contributions.• Prepared weekly and monthly communications on key legislative and regulatory issues for executive leadership. • Led all global Government Affairs activities and the Xerox Political Action Committee. Managed a team of two direct reports, five consultants, and an annual budget.• Headed a task force that successfully addressed key CEO concerns in the Dodd-Frank Act, secured a non-binding advisory vote on say-on-pay, and provided extensive input for the final version of the bill.• Secured the enactment of an amendment to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) that enabled the distribution of stock options to employees at all levels. Played a central role in enacting the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA) to ensure adequate funding of employee-sponsored pension plans. • Served as lead lobbyist for all human resource and public procurement-related issues, including health care, employee benefits, workforce development, government printing, and government contracts.• Planned and executed Xerox’s strategy for compliance with a range of European Union (EU) environmental regulations and directives, including RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment), and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals).• Collaborated in creating a new Public Sector Sales Operations function and the Competency Center for Public Sector Sales, Contract Support, and Compliance.
