I use product design and space design to create environments where people thrive, come up with new ideas, and new cultures can emerge. Give me the challenge to bring people together through space and I’m over the moon. I co-founded and head Wow!Labs, an innovation studio registered in London and operating globally since 2012. We believe innovation is the result of 3 factors:- Capacity to produce new ideas- Cultures that support disruption- Spaces where collaboration occursOur clients and partners are companies, cities or governments, higher education or international organizations that want to create innovation in a specific context. Leading the space and product aspect of interdisciplinary teams is what I enjoy most. My background in the built environment and systems (energy, air, data, water) means I function well both leading projects from A to Z and complementing existing teams, usually made up of architects, designers, engineers and visual artists. Projects that bring together systems, people and experimentation for impact are my favourite playground.PLACE, a spin-off of Wow!Labs, is one such project, built to change the narrative around refugees by linking migration to innovation and Future of Work. PLACE gives me ample space to experiment in creating pop-up environments that are conducive to innovation in contexts of extreme interculturality, in Paris, Berlin and London.I’ve co-constructed or backed more entrepreneurial ventures than I can include here, ranging from the first Impact Hub in London, a coworking space dedicated to social impact, and the LearningHouse, an incubator pioneering new approaches to learning through a shared space. Early on in my career I also co-founded La Mamma, an innovative caterer delivering healthy meals to professionals on the go, but that’s another story.To refuel, I love cooking for the numerous people I’m lucky to call my tribe, and letting my hands decide what they want to build.
