I held positions from part-time clerk to the assistant operations manager at Barnes and Noble's original store in Manhattan. I trained and evaluated staff, wrote and edited parts of a training manual, helped devise an orientation program, helped with the transition to computerized inventory, handled special orders, and handled a host of other tasks.
