I left for college in 1998 and returned to Red Lobster, and became a Certified Trainer. I spent 8 years on and off during high school and college there. After college I decided to open a salon, but never found my passion in that field. I became a marketing director for Marriott Hotels and loved it as I was back in the industry that fulfilled me; but there was still something missing. The company was bought out and I chose to stay at home and focus on raising my family. When I saw that Olive Garden was coming to Tifton I took a leap of faith and applied for a management position. After being hired, I did my training in Newnan, Ga. After training I went to Albany, Ga until Tifton opened. I started as the service manager and carried top guest satisfaction scores the whole time during my tenure as Service Manager. In 2016 I became the General Manager of Olive Garden in Tifton. We have won 8 consecutive top quartile performance flex awards under my leadership. I also won the Community Service Leadership Award in 2017, as well as a drawing for PE performance (20k). In the Spring of 2020, I was approached with an offer to join a new company that is coming to South Georgia. I will be a partner in opening multiple Your Pie Pizza restaurants. Our first restaurant is in reconstruction in Tifton, Georgia. We hope to be open in late spring, early summer. I love the brand and culture that Your Pie has to offer and can't wait to see how well it is going to do in Tifton!
