Current● Created a streamline approach to space planning across multiple Disneyland Resort offices spaces (macro, midi and micro) by creating master furniture outlines to quickly quote budgets and to keep design cost down, saving the organization an average of $100,000 per year, over the last 10 years.● Spearheaded development of design master file concepts for more than 75% of resort buildings that combined documentation of furniture assets, previous project costs, office occupancy and current project budgets.● Developed a relationship with architectural and facilities management teams to ensure they capture furniture layout and electrical, voice, and data drops in architectural packages to ensure costs are covered, prevent design revisions and change orders to keep projects within budget. ● As the lead office space planner for Star Wars Galaxy Edge, Cars Land and Avengers office spaces, I ensured project vision and design intent reflected in the final office design.● Deliver CAD 2D, 3D workstation visualization, cut sheets, memo samples, and budgets to assist in client’s vision on future projects. ● Within 13 months, and more than two months ahead of schedule, I facilitated the relocation of more than 1,900 employees to various offsite locations in advance of construction on Star Wars Galaxy Edge, by inventorying existing office furniture and designing it in new work spaces. ● Cut furniture costs on reconfigures, between 50% to 100%, by analyzing the condition of existing furniture on site and in client’s inventory. ● Regularly performed work outside normal responsibilities such as managing and coordinating furniture warranties, manage and coordinate drop ship delivery dates, negotiate deeper discounts to existing contract discounts and directed and oversaw work activities of 3rd party design services.● Developed and maintained building address maps for facility operations in order to understand occupancy and design more efficient workspaces.
