As part of my role at BuzzFeed, I am responsible for overseeing the company's programmatic sales strategy, leading the Shop Vertical servicing major retailers across various industries, and solidifying BuzzFeed's partnerships with all major media holding companies through upfront and endeavor deals.

Responsible for building a team to support BuzzFeed's expanding Programmatic business and managing a group of senior sellers overseeing Legacy Retailer Accounts. My main focus was on spearheading strategic partnerships that spanned multiple business lines, with a particular emphasis on content, programmatic, and commerce. As a result of my contributions, I was named Ad Pushup's Global Publishing Leader of 2021, an award that recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions not only to their companies but to the industry as a whole.

The core function of my role was to source incremental revenue for the company by developing a new book of business via programmatic. I was instrumental in creating a programmatic and display GTM strategy, focusing on products, capabilities, and pricing.

Drove Programmatic Sales for Fusion Media Group, a partnership of 11 publisher sites: The Onion, AV Club, ClickHole, Gizmodo, Lifehacker, Jezebel, Deadspin, Kotaku, Jalopnik, Fusion, and The Root.

Responsible for selling and servicing audience-only buys from direct response advertisers, prospecting for business from a list of pure play digital accounts, and growing current relationships with Axcess (Time Inc.'s premium branded network) buyers.

Worked alongside a Senior Executive as a “territory partner,” handing all pre and post sale initiatives. Built strong relationships with agencies and clients by managing and growing campaigns. This role was also a major stepping stone to gaining sales experience by up selling current advertisers, cold calling, and breaking small accounts.

Daily activities consisted of inserting plans into MediaVisor/Atlas, filling out Spec Sheets, using Snag-It to obtain screenshots, pulling together edit credits, creating competitive reviews, participating in RFP brainstorms, conducting basic research (using Ad Relevance, @Plan, and Ad Database,) managing the National Account List, evaluating delivery reports, and answering advertising inquiries in the PeopleInfo mailbox.
