Senior Advisor to the USDA – Under Secretary for Research, Education, and Economics, and Executive Director of the Research, Education and Economics Advisory Board Office. Designated Federal Officer working with the National Agricultural Research, Extension, Education, and Economics Advisory Board and its associated committees, as well as the National Genetic Resources Advisory Council. In these positions she interacts with USDA leadership, members of Congress, University and agricultural leaders. Manage all operations of the following federal advisory committees: National Agricultural Research, Extension, Education, and Economics Advisory Board (NAREEE); Renewable Energy Committee; Specialty Crop Committee; Citrus Disease Research and Development Advisory Committee; Relevancy and Adequacy Committee; and the National Genetic Resources Advisory Council (NGRAC).

Wrote and implemented policies and procedures for the extramural agreements program within the Agricultural Research Service. Managed the internal database and served on several teams to improve and implement updates to the system. Interacted with Agency and USDA leadership on federal policies impacting the agency.

Responsible for the programmatic, fidicuary, and outreach efforts of the Conservation Grants Program; a program dedicated to assisting farmers with implementing conservation practices on their farms.
