As a patient companion, I drove and accompanied individuals to medical appointments and facilitated communication between patients and caregivers, as well as among the patient's many caregivers, regarding their medical care. I visited patients, cooked them meals, and ensured they were cared for in a proper and safe environment.

Lead a team of 5 technicians in the organization, assessment, and packing of archived materials. Maintained a paper data log, catalogued over 20,000 assessment records, and converted paper logs into electronic logs.

This was a full time contracted position (following some wonderful time as a volunteer) as the Forensic Anthropology Lab Educator, where I ran special programs for school field trips and taught formal lessons on human remains in forensic and archaeological contexts. This position involved managing and scheduling over 80 volunteers, communicating scientific information in a formal setting to children aged 10-18 (and to visitors of all ages in an informal setting), as well as managing the Lab's collection of skeletal specimens.

As an intern with the Anatomical Division at the Museum of Health and Medicine, I catalogued and assessed historical anatomical specimens. I gained experience with wet-preserved tissue, as well as educational exposure to museum curation, identification of gross anatomy and pathology, and the history of medicine.
