Working closely with you, your CPA and other professionals, I help determine the most effective strategies to help you meet your goal - whether it's sending your kids to college, growing your nest egg, enjoying a long retirement or protecting your assets and loved ones.Prior to Edward Jones, I worked in finance and accounting, serving individual and business clients for over 20 years. My work with individuals included tax and financial planning predominantly related to retirement and tax-saving strategies. The businesses that I served ranged in size from independent to publicly traded companies and included both for-profit and non-profit. In addition to financial planning for these businesses, I worked with 401(k), 403(b) and profit-sharing retirement plans.Outside of the office, I am a mother of two teenagers and the wife of an EMT who works in one of our local emergency rooms. We live on a hobby farm with goats, chickens, dogs, cats, deer and rabbits. We all enjoy riding ATVs and being outdoors. My indoor fun includes quilting and cooking.I enjoy educating my clients about investing. Having been an investor for more than 25 years, I particularly value working with people who are nearing retirement and helping those transitioning from a divorce or the loss of a spouse.
