At the request of the Chief Governance Counsel:-Provide business intelligence and serve as a subject matter expert in the areas of corporate governance, executive compensation disclosure, and corporate social responsibility. -Evaluate key governance metrics to facilitate oversight by the Nominating and Governance Committee of the PNC Board of Directors. -Develop and oversee projects within the Corporate Governance function – from strategy and design to planning and execution. -Provide analysis and reporting on project performance metrics and suggest corrective action measures to improve efficiency.

-Plan, execute and deliver on multiple projects by independently overcoming obstacles and/or developing strategies to address obstacles. Includes appropriate level of documentation, issue and risk management, on-time delivery, facilitation of project meetings, and addressing activities related to organizational change management if required by effort.-Determine needs for resources and/or coordination from areas outside of client responsibility, such as technology or finance. Work to secure needed assistance in a manner that fosters cooperation and collaboration. -Communicate proactively with client(s), keep them informed in open, honest and timely manner as to project status, issues, risks. Collaborate with clients (both at sponsor level and working team level) on determining priorities and scope of efforts.

 Responsible to Non-Earning Asset committee for ATM currency channel strategy. Developed and produced periodic statistical trend reports of currency-related NEA costs across all channels.  Optimized ATM replenishment schedules, balancing currency levels / cost of funds with transportation expense for a reduction in overall costs of 5% annually (2006-2010). Featured speaker on cash forecasting lessons learned at Fiserv’s 2008 global annual conference. SPOC for division-wide LEAN initiative, which reduced direct costs 5% across three departments. Created database / automation solutions for partners across business lines to improve operating efficiency, data integrity, and reporting capability.  Produced numerous business intelligence reports integrating data from multiple applications for communications and decision-making at thousands of endpoints and senior levels. Managed operations, budget, and staffing for eight specialists, one business analyst, one report analyst, and one operations analyst.

 Developed in-house database applications for reconciling internal accounts and ATM activity, posting electronic general ledger entries, scheduling replenishments, processing vendor claims, resolving customer disputes, recognizing employees, and tracking employee productivity.  Realized four FTE efficiency through automated solutions. Implemented ATM cash scheduling and forecasting of optimal cash levels using vendor application (Fiserv-iCom). Reduced per ATM currency levels an average of 4% per year (2003-2010). Implemented and enforced controls and segregation of duties in compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. (Favorable results from all corporate audits and reviews through 2010.) Managed vendor communications for daily operations and project planning. No monetary losses associated with vendor currency management (2002-2010). Managed operations, budget, and staffing for nine specialists, one business analyst, one supervisor.

 Consolidated vendor ATM reconcilement function from five bank systems/locations to a single site. Established standardized procedures and contingency plans to improve consistency and efficiency. Implemented strict controls and contractual claims processes to minimize risk of vendor fraud. Reduced exposure for vendor losses from $500k annually to $0. Managed operations and staffing for seven specialists.

 Prepared ad-hoc report analyses for budgets, divestitures, profitability reporting. Directed research and reconcilement efforts related to conversion activities. Managed two analysts.

 Prepared Community Reinvestment Act program documentation for regulators. Ensured accurate data collection and geo-coding analysis of lending activity. Coded ad-hoc and periodic loan reports from mainframe databases. Administered centralized bank regulatory compliance programs.
