In October of 2016 I was offered a part time position with a new non-profit organization, the Buckeye Police Foundation. I assisted this organization in it's initial efforts to track and maintain donor's and grantors. The Buckeye Police Foundation is dedicated to providing assistance to our community thru several programs including assisting the families of fallen or injured officers in their time of need, assisting victims and their families of domestic violence and providing information and assistance to members of the Buckeye community who have been victims of crimes.In 2004 I opened SGBD Stained Glass by Design, and have developed a web application at www.windowmakr.com that allow our clients to easily select a design, and their desired colors of glass. When they have completed their selection, all they do is click "send" and it is emailed to our shop where we build this artwork sidelight window as designed by the customer. Our process is unique and customer oriented. Once the sidelight artwork has been crafted, we have it encased between 2 pieces of tempered glass for safety, security and easy care. These customer selected widow pieces of art will last a lifetime.In 1999 I was offered an opportunity to start a non profit organization, CANDO Contract Compliance, to monitor public works construction in California, Arizona and Nevada. in the 15 years we were in business we recovered over $ 7.2 million dollars in Back wages to workers and fines and penalties to unfair contractors for incorrectly classifying and under paying their employees. CANDO Contract Compliance worked on leveling the industry on public works construction projects.
