As a medical editor, writer, and content strategist with more than 15 years’ combined experience in medical communications and medical publishing, Michele has developed content for advisory boards (eg, presentations, discussion guides, executive summaries), speaker bureaus (eg, speaker slide kits, e-newsletters, ancillary dinner meeting materials), field-force training, Web-based initiatives (eg, broadcasts, telewebs), and strategic planning meetings.After graduating from Pace University with a master of science in publishing, Michele began her career at a medical publishing company as a managing editor. There, she coordinated the planning, development, and production of two monthly trade journals—one focused on general surgery and the other on women’s health. Michele transitioned to medical communications in 2002. In her capacity as managing editor, senior managing editor, and then executive editor, she developed and executed promotional and CME programs for several clients in the therapeutic areas of diabetes, cardiology, erectile dysfunction, and psychiatry. In 2007, Michele became a director of program strategy at a northern New Jersey medical communications agency, where she oversaw the strategic content development for a multifaceted, ongoing promotional education program on epilepsy. In 2012, she joined Health and Wellness Partners as a senior managing editor, in part, to produce an unbranded initiative for consumers and HCPs in the area of psychiatry.
