Living Yoga is a social justice organization committed to youth and adults who have experienced trauma. Our dedicated trainers and volunteers foster healing and resilience through trauma-informed yoga. We serve more than 600 students each month in corrections and reentry, addiction treatment and recovery, and community health programs.

Strategic Consulting & Program Management work includes:• 5-yr Strategic Vision Workshops: Worked with Executive Leadership at a large Health System to create a series of workshops: Customer engagement, local and national market outlook, and market segmentation analysis.• Program Management/Change Initiative: Led a large process change initiative that impacted several departments in the Organization and required team members to change how they interacted with each other, increase their engagement and risk tolerance, as well as further develop their leadership capabilities. • KPI/Dashboard Operations Assessment: Worked with 12 Organizational Departments to identify KPI’s and develop a dashboard. Client now saves time by measuring data that matters, has an increased focus on operational objectives that contribute to outcomes such as decreasing the documentation burden by converting clients to electronic processing and has an understanding of how to benchmark the auto adjudication rate for optimal claims processing as well as tracking the ROI for Portfolio Managers through a proper change management process.• Current State/Future State Workflow Assessment: Managed project to ensure value through the application of Lean principles which included standardizing tools, reducing the number of committees and ultimately frequency of meetings.

I partnered with clients nationwide to help assess business operations, participate in improvement initiatives to understand how solutions as well as industry best practices can help them achieve improved performance. Engagements included large scale change initiatives, process optimizations, branding initiatives for high growth clients that were growing organically and/or through mergers and acquisitions.

Capstone project focused on a Modern Business Incubator: Created a Strategic Plan for the Innovation Hub at the University of Florida. The hub is a modern business incubator that was funded by a grant from the Federal Economic Development Administration and a multi-million dollar investment from the University of Florida. The Hub has served as a catalyst for entrepreneurs creating startup companies which has met its goal of creating jobs for Floridians.Coursework selection focused on Strategy and Finance. I also completed a Minor in Auditing at the Fisher School of Accounting at UF.

I first served as finance chair to Florida Association of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, Inc. which is a state public policy office. My work as finance chair led to a consulting position with this organization.
