In this role, Michele oversees the Lucy Family Institute’s external partnerships and works to bolster the growth of the Institute’s initiatives. She will be responsible for implementing the Institute’s strategy, mission, and goals and fostering communication and collaboration with partner units and research programs across campus.As executive director, Michele will also play an important role in aligning the Institute’s efforts with the University’s strategic framework by working with leaders of the Institute’s centers and labs to implement impactful programs that link to the University’s strategic initiatives and priorities, including poverty, health and well-being, data and computational science, ethics, and democracy.
