At Habitat for Humanity Canada, Michele works to expand affordable home creation across the country for the Habitat for Humanity federation as a whole, as well as for individual affiliates. She does this through assessing and capitalizing on land acquisition, development, construction and financing opportunities and developing or securing needed capacity. She oversees programs delivered in partnership with government and other organizations, and works with affiliates, where appropriate, to capitalize on those opportunities, ensuring that our commitments are met, and our learning maximized.Michele also manages meaningful relationships with developers, landowners, municipal regulators, lenders, social impact investors, and other potential partners. She has extensive government relations experience, at all three levels, and is an experienced speaker, facilitator, and corporate spokesperson, fluent in English and French.
