Michele has over 20 years of M&A and corporate finance experience both domestically and internationally, advising both public and private companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, retail, technology and professional services. She works primarily with mid-market businesses providing advice and hands on assistance with domestic and cross border growth strategies, raising debt and equity capital, acquisitions, divestitures and succession/transition planning. Michele has spent the majority of her career as an advisor/consultant including a 15 year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Canada and in the United Kingdom and, more recently, as a partner in MNP LLP in Toronto before founding MC2 Business Advisors Inc. In addition to her advisory roles, Michele has also headed the Acquisitions Department of Katz Group Canada Ltd. (Rexall/Pharma Plus) where she was responsible for the identification and execution of strategic acquisitions nationally as well as the planning and management of post-merger integration activities. Michele obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor in 1992, became a Chartered Professional Accountant in 1995 and obtained Chartered Financial Analyst Chartered Business Valuator designations in 2001 and 2009 respectively. She is also a sessional lecturer at the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management.
