Building on successful achievements, I was promoted to the role of Credit Manager, leading the EMEA Credit Department team and ensuring the achievement of credit objectives such as past due receivables, financing solutions, exports and DSO targets. The job, includes leading, coaching, and appraising a team of 4, the creation and maintenance of procedures.

My role was to oversee the Credit Management function for France, Benelux & Export. I managed a team of 2 Credit Specialists.Next to the credit management tasks and responsibilities such as Credit Risk analysis, meeting sales, business management and customers, Benelux high risk accounts and Export customers (L/C, Documentary credit, SBLC), my role evolved.

I was promoted to a global role, assisting the Credit Director, I managed day-to-day EMEA Distributors and US Boat Customers. My responsibilities were to manage credit and the associated risk in the broad sense: credit assessments and approvals (250K approval level), orders on hold, account receivables, payment terms, letters of credit, bank guarantees.

I started my career by joining Brunswick Marine EMEA, as a Customer service Coordinator. I was in permanent contact with the customers, managing EMEA distributors, following-up customers’ orders, letters of credit, and fixing disputes issues. I was also coordinating work with all departments involved, e.g. Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, After-Sales.
