Teaching all aspects of the Medical Assistant Program including administrative, clinical, and computer applications. Moved into Student Service Department due to low student count to assist students with externship, job placement and conduct career workshops.

Assistant to Janine Kasch, D.O. caring for all ages from pediatric to geriatrics, and specialized in dermatology. Phlebotomy, assisting with minor surgery, patient education.

Licensed at home daycare business working mostly with foster children with developmental and severe medical problems. Caring for children with Autism, feeding tubes, Sickle Cell Anemia and organ transplants. Ileostomy and tracheotomy care, and catherization for Spinal Bifida child.

Assistant to Robert Zgliniec, M.D., an Internal Medicine physician performing all back office duties. Covered front office and scheduling department when needed.

Assistant to Daniel Mulvihill, M.D. and Supervisor for the Poway location handling patient complaints, keeping the crash cart and all policy books up to date.

Assistant to RN’s in the Cardiac Care and Intensive Care Units with patient baths, turning, walking, vitals, cardiac output, ecgs, venipuncture and enter orders into the computer.

Completed externship and was hired after graduation. Performed all back and front office duties. Entered hospital charges into computer and registered new patients.

Greet and admit patients entering into the emergency department, enter Doctors’ orders into the computer, call for authorizations, and data entry.
