I hold a PhD in civil engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where I specialized in direct numerical simulations of interfacial gas transfer and pollutant transport. My research focused on understanding how coherent structures influence mass transfer in turbulent open channel flows, a fascinating area that blends environmental science with fluid dynamics.After completing my PhD in July 2021, I transitioned into project and sales management, eager to apply my analytical mindset to business. As a Project Manager at a rapidly growing company, I built a new department from scratch and mentored a team, improving my leadership and operational skills. I then took on the role of Sales Manager at Koenig & Bauer Celmacch, overseeing agencies across multiple regions, including the US, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. During this time, I was there during the merging of Celmacch Group’s corrugated market expertise with Koenig & Bauer’s global sales network.-- Coming Full Circle--In 2023, I returned to my roots in computational fluid dynamics, joining Flow Science Mediterranea as an Account Manager for Italy.
