Operations Relationship Manager• Research and determine appropriate staff/management needed to assist with the problem resolution and exception process.• Determine reasonable solutions, present recommendations and negotiate final decision with affected staff and management.• Communicate agreed upon solutions to Firms within established guidelines.• Analyze and determine effect on other systems and/or administrative processes and communicate to appropriate areas.• Research and answer operation questions from wholesalers, internal sales desk and other areas.• Serves as an escalation point of contact at American Equity for our broker dealers, DTCC and platform vendors. • Supports on-boarding of new Broker Dealers and Banks (or other Financial Services entities) on the distributor platforms.• Enhance relationships with key service providers, vendors, customers, financial advisors, wholesaling staff and distributor contacts• Works closely with BRC, Programming and Technical services for planning for new solutions, technology upgrades and maintenance of distributed environment.• Work with Distributors to drive strategic initiatives to improve the agent/customer experience and to represent their views in project prioritizations.
