As the program manager for Enrollment, in the Technology & Data Office work group, I oversee four annual enrollment data collections, as well as the School Choice process for the Delaware Department of Education to included user support, program enhancement, technology improvements, data reporting and legislative feedback. I serve the Department and the K12 network, as well as engaging and collaborating with K12 data and pupil accounting members statewide. Major Responsibilities: • Providing exemplary services as a support organization to all stakeholders, including Department staff (Finance, CTE, Exceptional Children, and others), school districts and charter schools.• Administering centralized statewide support and training for Delaware’s multiple student counts, servicing primarily the K12 community.• Managing and executing School Choice and unit count related data collection and reporting efforts.• Overseeing development and maintenance of unit count system and interface.• Participating in pupil accounting forums.

Design, acquire, develop and authenticate longitudinal data sets for Special Education and Early Childhood Education services in the State of Delaware. Develop SQL databases and queries to address federal reporting requirements and ad-hoc data studies. Create Cognos reports and surveys via various web-based survey applications to assist district and charter school staff in data collection. Work with Department Program Managers to define and address new reporting requirements. Assist district and charter school staff in developing and utilizing self-assessment tools to ensure compliance around federal IDEA regulations. Produce reports and presentations on data findings and in response to internal and external data requests. Provide technical assistance opportunities and tech support to administrators, specialists and support staff for the state-wide data collections. Serve as the reporting liaison for state IDEA 618 federal reporting requirements. Participate actively in the Compliance monitoring activities of the Exceptional Children workgroup and the Data Governance initiative

Triaged and researched issues; assisted in set-up and maintenance of system. Wrote Microsoft SQL queries to correct, insert, and delete data as necessary. Provided guidance on best use of the system. Managed cases in automated case management system through resolution.
