Lead and manage $3 million organization with a staff of 13, focused entirely on arts education programming delivered by teaching artists in school settings. Actively fundraise, steward relationships with stakeholders, lead strategy and manage staff. Significant organizational advances include: • $5 million, 50th anniversary fundraising campaign, completed 2024.• The launch (2018) and sustaining of “Arts United” a comprehensive DEIA effort which has transformed organizational culture, business practices, program development, curriculum, staff and artist recruitment and training, and fundraising priorities through an equity lens. • Mobilizing staff and board to respond to the COVID pandemic with strategic and values driven priorities: 1) supporting artists through artist relief funding, 2) building virtual programming, 3) accessing organizational reserves to offer continuity of programming to school partners. (2020-2022)• YANJEP’s selection as partner for New Jersey State Council on the Arts co-sponsor project APLI: Arts Professional Learning Institute (2019) with the goal of supporting teaching artists and teachers in culturally responsive and affirming teaching practices. • Market research and brand refresh to elevate the visual identity of the organization, while maintaining connection to the National YA network.
