I hold a doctoral degree in social work and maintain licensure at the generalist level (LGSW) in the state of Minnesota. I have successfully completed the Infant Early Childhood Certificate Program at the University of Minnesota, coupled with extensive expertise in the realm of child welfare. My professional background encompasses the facilitation and coordination of family meetings, case management, teaching, and various leadership roles. I take pride in my adeptness at designing and implementing group interventions for both adults and children.Presently, I serve as the Department Chair of Social Work and hold the position of Assistant Professor at The College of St. Scholastica. Concurrently, I contribute as a part-time Early Childhood and Family Therapist, with specialized training in DC 0-5.Noteworthy contributions to the field include my authored section in the textbook "Forensic Social Work," specifically in the "Voices from the Field" segment, as well as contributions to "The New Social Worker" magazine. Additionally, I have co-authored the publication "Where Social Work Can Lead You."
