For over 20 years, I have provided high quality evaluation and research services for multi-state, statewide, regional, and local non-profit and government programs. My areas of expertise include: home visitation, child welfare, kinship navigation, public health promotion, micro business and asset development; and domestic violence prevention and intervention. I obtain grant funding and sub-contracts and develop client and goal-driven research plans. I utilize quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research approaches, developing sound instruments and obtaining IRB approval. Methods I commonly use include: surveys (paper, online, and telephone), interviews, focus groups, observations, and review of documents and secondary data. I have extensive experience in conducting project implementation and outcomes studies; higher education program review and improvement; and consumer and client feedback. I am skilled at analyzing data using SPSS, AMOS and Excel and performing content/thematic analyses. I am passionate about developing and disseminating findings in ways that are usable and meaningful to stakeholders. These include technical reports and briefs, refereed publications, and presentations at conferences and to stakeholders and funders. In 2012 I joined LeCroy & Milligan Associates, an evaluation firm in Tucson, AZ, as a Senior Evaluation Associate. This position builds on my 12 years of experience as Research Specialist and Evaluation Coordinator at the University of Vermont's Center for Rural Studies.
