In this role, I managed the tracking of metrics, budgets, forecasts, program submissions, and roadmaps and developed long-/short-term objectives and strategy for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel. To achieve these goals, I manage a lean team of 2+ project managers, with cross-functional matrix oversight for up to 200 resources globally.▷COST CUTTING: As part of an enterprise focus on cost reduction, I was called on to lead initiatives to achieve 15% YOY cost reduction. ▷PROJECT & VENDOR RELATIONSHIP TURNAROUND: Early on, I had been recruited to get major application upgrade projects back on track, including a Policy Administration System project that was 2 years behind schedule and significantly over budget. Additionally, as a team, we reduced a 1500+-requirement backlog to 200 by utilizing Agile to run sprints and prioritize requests.▷SECURITY: Managed the resolution of 1,300 vulnerabilities by implementing service upgrades without disrupting customers. ▷MODERNIZATION, CLOUD MIGRATION, DATABASE UPGRADES: Delivered program roadmaps for strategic programs, major network upgrades, and application modernization efforts, including migrations to the Cloud, Windows, and database upgrades.
