Accountable for development and conceptualization of all marketing and advertising strategies for the Holmes family of automotive dealerships. Customized initiatives according to target markets for brands including Honda, Chevrolet, Hyundai, GMC Truck and Oldsmobile.Created and defined Holmes' brand identity. Partnered with advertising agency to execute the brand campaign by delivering the message via television, radio, outdoor, newspaper and direct mail. Ensured brand consistency by managing a centralized marketing and advertising department.Designed and launched high volumes of direct mail advertisements. Involved in all aspects of planning and delivering, including creation, list selection, printing, lettershop, and response rate tracking. Achieved an 11% response rate on Holmes’ weekly service reminder letters as part of a strategy to increase service business. Cultivated and directed Holmes’ annual Labor Day Sale-A-Thon events to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Recruited volunteers, solicited sponsorships, collected in-kind donations and executed all advertising and promotion of the events. Increased funds raised for the MDA from $10,000 to $50,000 per year.Designed and introduced over 1,000 highly visual graphic design publications. Successfully marketed these materials via newspaper, direct mail, event invitations, brochures, newsletters and electronic mail.Launched an electronic mail marketing initiative, expanding Holmes’ customer e-mail database to over 10,000 contacts.
