About Michele Swift, Ph.D.
An HR enthusiast with a passion for developing future HR leaders and creating better workplaces. As an instructor, I’ve designed, developed and taught a variety of HR courses for various audiences and in different modalities. I’ve also been the chapter advisor of an award winning SHRM student chapter since 2017. Currently I’m the Director for Assessment & Accreditation where I manage the college’s assurance of learning process and oversee the development of the accreditation report.Prior to academia, I spent over 10 years working in HR and as an HR systems consultant where I designed, developed, and managed the implementation of HR employee and manager self-service applications.While I haven’t been an active researcher for a while, my interests include the motivation behind employee knowledge sharing and the relationship between knowledge sharing and creativity. I’ve also published in the area of disability accommodation.
