Ms. Torbert possesses a unique blend of technical product, project, and proposal management expertise with prior executive leadership in telecommunications. Ms. Torbert currently serves as Serco's senior manager leading proposal solutioning, writing, and management of its most strategic opportunities. Ms. Torbert's expertise includes strategic planning , where she served as the lead analyst, researcher, and primary author of strategic plans for both federal and higher education clients including USDA, NARA, The George Washington University, and Carnegie Mellon University.While at Serco, Ms. Torbert was nominated for and graduated from its executive training program, Serco Fellows Program Management. She was also nominated for the Serco Operational Excellence program, where she earned a Yellow Belt and intends to pursue a Green Belt in the coming months.As a Director of Inbound Services at MCI, Ms. Torbert was instrumental in defining and delivering first-ever telecommunications services including national directory assistance, customer controlled network management, and centralized and automated call processing. She and her staff are named as the inventors for MCI's Automated Telephone Operator Services grant patent # 5703935 issued December 1997.Between her first career at MCI and her current career at Serco, Ms. Torbert dedicated her time to raising her children and launching them into adulthood.
