Michele Brenner is the Founder and Principal of Brenner Brand Marketing, providing consumer insights and marketing strategy consulting to brand marketers.Previously a Director of Marketing at Scotts Miracle-Gro, Michele has over a decade of corporate experience growing branded businesses with Scotts Miracle-Gro, Campbell Soup and DMB&B (working on Procter & Gamble advertising). She is known for being results-oriented and highly effective, having posted double-digit sales and profitability gains for several businesses including V8 Splash, Scotts Turf Builder fertilizer products, Scotts Pure Premium Grass Seed and Scotts Spreaders. Michele is also a RIVA-trained focus group moderator. Her natural curiosity, classical consumer packaged goods marketing training and Michele’s business management background combine to make her qualitative research insightful and action-oriented for the end user. In 2016 Michele published her book Focus Groups 101, The Brand Marketer's Guide to the 5 Stages of Focus Group Research. It's designed to fill a business school and corporate marketing training gap to make brand marketers more savvy consumers of market research services.Michele holds a Master of International Management. from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona and a B.A. from the University of Oregon.
