After selling Excel4apps in September 2018, Michele has become involved in application development as well as advising several startups on strategy and operational best practices.While at Excel4apps, Michele was responsible for the Innovation Centre and for supporting the CEO with running Excel4apps. Michele, previously co-founded Excel4apps and then led the growth of the company as the CEO for the next 10+ years until April 2016. Prior to starting Excel4apps, Michele was a Divisional Director at KPMG Consulting and later EOH. He was previously involved in many successful Oracle ERP implementations and also part of the team that was rated as Oracle’s top implementation partner in South Africa for five consecutive years.Michele studied Accountancy, Business Information Systems and Commercial Law at Rhodes University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is currently an active student of Gazelles which is aimed at growing leaders and growing companies.Michele is passionate about optimizing business processes through technology and the creation of easy to use highly valued software products.For fun and fitness he fuels his need for speed by competing in both road and triathlon events.
