I am a senior front-end web developer, with a strong knowledge of React and JavaScript which I have used in several commercial projects. I have also have experience with Angular and Vue. With my background as a UX/UI designer I am fully capable of design professional, modern, user friendly and responsive websites, translate design into code and to fully communicate and collaborate with a team of designers, narrowing the gap between designers and developers.I have a strong knowledge of React including advanced concepts like hooks, context and high order components, especially using Next.js. I have also have a strong experience with GraphQL, querying data from any type of CMS. I often use Chakra UI or similar component libraries to create themed components to use across the application for consistency or a custom Sass theme with an ecosystem of functionality such as mixins and functions. I also use library like Framer Motion to create a whole range of animations, from micro transition on UI elements to improve the UX of the project, to big and bold animation to engage the user. For some projects i have also used some testing libraries such as jest, enzyme or the React Testing Library.Due to my previous experience I also have a strong knowledge of WordPress and I am able to create custom themes, custom post types, custom taxonomies and custom fields. Using Trellis, Bedrock and Sage by Roots to build better WordPress sites faster. I am also proficient with Advanced Custom Fields and Carbon Fields.I am also a graphic designer with more than five years of experience across digital and printed projects. Due to my graphic designer background, I have always collaborated with designers and sometime designed websites myself, being aware of what I was going to code.
