Manage a department of five staff and direct all logistical activities for Society’s Annual Meeting of 12,000 attendees and smaller meetings and symposia with up to 1,000 attendees. Oversee site selection, contract negotiations, budget management, exhibit sales and operations, registration and housing, and meeting and special event logistics. Work closely with leadership and staff on the development of the Annual Meeting and other smaller symposia.

Oversaw and managed the exhibit hall operations for three industry trade shows with 200 to 500 exhibiting companies and attendance ranging from 3,000 to 20,000 attendees. Worked closely with sales team on floor plan design, developed exhibitor service manuals for events, coordinated show management's decorator requirements and managed general service contractor.

Managed the logistics and budgets for medium-sized educational programs ranging from 100 to 800 attendees. Coordinated the logistics of the scientific and educational programs, awards banquet, poster session and reception and affiliate events for Annual Meeting of 13,000 attendees. Developed requests for proposals, researched and conducted site visits of potential meeting locations and negotiated contracts with hotels and suppliers.

Promoted from Meetings Assistant to Assistant Director of Meetings. Managed the logistics for over 200 educational programs at the International Builders’ Show and 500 association committee meetings for the spring and fall Board of Directors Meetings. Coordinated audio visual equipment, food and beverage, decorating and staging for these events. Managed one staff person.

Promoted from Exhibitor Service Representative to Meetings Assistant. Provided support with logistics for division meetings including room setup, food and beverage and audio visual equipment. Maintained and updated meeting schedules, staff manuals and meeting information on member website. Coordinated the production and printing process of program guides. Served as on-site logistics contact for staff at events.

Performed administrative duties for association’s two annual trade shows. Provided general information regarding exhibit space availability and costs to prospective exhibitors. Assigned booth space and prepared contracts after sale was completed. Maintained daily accounting ledger and updated exhibits database. Produced the exhibitor service manual. Supervised exhibitor registration area on-site at annual conventions.
