Applied Lean Startup methodology to assess potential commercialization of a medical device, including Business Model Canvas generation, identifying value propositions, and interviewing (countless!) customers and validators for hypothesis testing and subsequent pivoting. Also involved in writing of business plan and grant proposal for the device, including market sizing and competitive analysis.

Stem Cell & Developmental Biology group, under Dr. Tara Huber (GIS).Ph.D. thesis aimed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms involved in early mouse hematopoietic development:- Microarray analysis of early yolk sac- vs P-Sp- hemangioblast-derived colonies- Microarray analysis of differential hematopoietic populations derived from an in vitro recapitulation of the primitive streak. - ChIP-sequencing to identify the novel role of PRC1-mediated epigenetic regulation in early hematopoietic populations.
