* Provided Primary and Urgent patient care services with high volume of orthopedic and sports medicine conditions.

* Served as first assist on total hip and knee arthroplasty, trauma cases including femur, acetabular and tibial plateau fractures.* Provided seamless care and treatment of the orthopedic patient in clinic, pre- and post-operatively.

* Served as First Assist in cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgeries.* Executed advanced invasive procedures, including chest tube placement, central line placement, thoracentesis, vein harvesting and radial artery harvest for coronary cases.* Team approach to critical care, step-down care and post-op clinic.

* Served as First or Second Assistant on adult cardiac, thoracic and heart and lung transplant surgeries.* Independent on vein harvest. Our group was on the forefront of endoscopic vein harvesting.* Trained new PA’s in open and endoscopic vein harvest techniques.* Promoted physician assistant involvement in patient care outside of the OR, including ICU, post- op rounds, clinic and invasive procedures.
