About Michele Kinnon
Michele enjoyed an exciting career in the restaurant and fine wine industries before moving with her family to Mexico in 2004. She has traveled extensively through Mexico immersing herself in the culture, the cuisine and the rich history of the country she now calls home. Michele participated on the founding committee for Taste of Playa, the Riviera Maya’s largest and longest-running culinary festival and was the local food writer for The Playa Maya News. Currently, Michele lives in Puerto Aventuras where she owns and operates Puerto Aventuras Living, an insider's guide to living and visiting Puerto Aventuras and the Riviera Maya. Michele is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Playa del Carmen Seaside and is the club’s Chairperson for the Rotary Foundation. She also organizes the annual Riviera Maya Chili Cook-Off. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, photography, discovering new restaurants and writing articles about food, Puerto Aventuras and the Riviera Maya.
