Without a formal education, I started my advertising & marketing career and within that one company advanced from account executive to the 45 year old agency’s first woman president overseeing hundreds of employees in five offices nationwide. I subsequently set a goal to become ingrained in the Kansas City community where I was born and raised, and where my husband and I would raise our family. I now own EAG, where I lead an outstanding team that helps entrepreneurial brands and causes reach their goals through effective marketing advisory and creative design services. After all this time, I still get excited by the challenges our clients bring to us, and the opportunity to become deeply entrenched in their businesses. I am energized by providing a company culture in which each person can feel appreciated, challenged and fully engaged in pursuing a shared vision. I absolutely love what I do.I believe strongly in philanthropy and giving back to the greater community. I am board president of a free public french immersion charter school, a board member of an organization addressing mental health in the lives of people who have continually been thrust into extraordinary circumstances, a foundation that raises awareness of and provides platforms for survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, gun violence and other marginalized individuals, and a member of Women’s Employment Network’s (WEN) Legacy Circle. Additionally, EAG makes commitments of time, money and pro bono marketing services to more than 25 small, local, community-based non-profit organizations each year.
