In my current position, I ensure outstanding operations performance for the provider of Spinning®, Peak Pilates®, Bodyblade®, CrossCore®, and Ugi® brand exercise and training equipment, apparel, and accessories through B2B, B2C, direct response, and e-commerce channels.I optimize facilities including Warehousing & Fulfillment for all brands in Rancho Dominguez, California; Manufacturing & Fulfillment for the Peak Pilates brand in Longmont, Colorado; and office operations, as well as Warehousing & Fulfillment, in Maassluis, the Netherlands. Key to the role, I supervise the General Manager from the Manufacturing Plant, oversee a staff of 35 involving domestic and internationally dispersed managers and staff participating in inventory and manufacturing operations, as well as client services, and engage in the senior management team focused on strategic planning and business development.Key accomplishments: • Facilitated ERP system upgrades and installation of software for improved inventory and capital forecasting, and managed a software upgrade including approval of vendor statement of work, user test scripts, and final sign-off. • Teamed with managers in U.S. and Netherlands operations on an ongoing basis for optimal use of staff and rightsizing.• Produced an annual apparel collection throughout 10 years with the organization. • Facilitated all product launches through supply chain management, quality control, and collaboration in communication of the roll-out plan to marketing, sales, and client services. • Designed and executed the annual pop-up retail store at the World Spinning & Sports Conference involving 1,600 people and the retail store involving space as large as 7,000 square feet throughout 10 years with the organization.

In an earlier assignment with the organization, I developed and executed manufacturing plans for the complete line of products to include the oversight of inventory, warehousing, supply chain management, logistics, and production operations. This involved supervision of a staff of 14 including managers engaged in operations, client services, and technical support, with an emphasis on product quality. Key accomplishments:• Contribution to development, implementation, and administration of company policies, business goals, and objectives in U.S. operations.

Providing excellence in lifecycle management, I performed a critical role in bringing a complete line of home Spinner bikes from manufacturing processing to market while providing inventory control/loss management and supervising a Customer Service Manager and Warehouse Manager. Additionally, I managed inventory and fulfillment in the DRTV Division, ensuring the profitability of the Spinning infomercial. I facilitated the appropriate purchase of inventory based on historical units sold per media dollar and future media spend. I also maintained the supply chain for inventory of an outside group managing the infomercial on an international basis.One highlight involved:• Provision of change management during the acquisition of Peak Pilates, a $15M company. As part of the initiative, I integrated Peak Pilates products into the ERP system, as well as Peak warehousing operations into existing shipping software systems and warehouse controls. As a result of evolving operations, I acquired the role of Supervisor for the Purchasing Specialist, Colorado Warehouse Manager, and Colorado Operations Manager. Supporting a smooth transition, I monitored staff morale and needs among Peak staff members integrated during the acquisition.

In this assignment, I provided outstanding guidance of the team providing order placement, instructor training registration, order tracking, damage in transit, lost package, and other customer issue resolutions related to order fulfillment for Spinning Instructors participating in the Spinning Instructor Training Course, as well as consumers purchasing exercise equipment, accessories, and apparel. Among my goals, I focused on the attainment of an abandonment rate of 1% or less on incoming calls. Key accomplishments:• Facilitation of the customer service team to a customer satisfaction rate of 98% in a survey.• Establishment of a new phone system including call center reporting.

Early in my career with the organization, I scheduled and managed more than 600 instructor certifications and 900 continuing education courses annually through associated educational materials, financial reconciliations, site-contracts, and Master Instructor bookings. I set travel and lodging arrangements for contractors leading Spinning Instructor Training Programs in the U.S. and Latin America. Key to this phase with the organization, I developed processes and procedures for the new International Training Department scheduling training programs outside of the U.S. and Canada.A highlight of my tenure involved:• Expansion of annual training revenue by 23% by implementing mass e-mail marketing, template flyers for on-site advertising, and incentive programs for the Master Instructor Training Team.
