I was lucky to start my career as a trainee at a large company, which led me to experiences of great responsibility, but also career development. Reflecting on how the criteria of these selections are still excluding and the opportunities to reach a trainee position are very unequal, I joined a group of ex-trainees to contribute to people's career. 'Você Trainee' is a 100% free talent mentoring that connects volunteer mentors to aspiring trainees.

After seven years working in the company, in an intrapreneurial movement, I created the organization's inclusion and diversity area. In a very traditional field (logistics) and in a highly challenging and complex scenario (employees are 87% male and leaders are 80% male engineers) I was responsible for managing organizational change towards a more inclusive and diverse culture.Led all the D&I programs (people with disabilities, gender equity, race and ethnicity, LGBTI + and generations).Created the first D&I governance and strategic plan.Coordinated communication content on diversity, equity and inclusion.Managed budget, analyzed data and monitored program’s success.Worked along with business partners to disseminate diversity and inclusion practices across the company.Mobilized a group of volunteer D&I ambassadors.Coordinated D&I training program for leaders and staff employees.Provided coaching and mentoring to top allied leadership, including directors and CEO.Represented the company in external forums and business coalitions such as Movimento Mulher 360º, WEPs (UN Women) and Target Gender Equality (Global Compact).Generated results such as: increase of female attractiveness in the employer branding; growth in the percentage of women in the company and in the female leadership pipeline; improvement ofdiversity retention; extrapolation of the legal quota for people with disabilities; reach of 50% black employees hired among trainee program candidates; 13 points increase in satisfaction in theinternal HR survey with leaders and growth of 20 points in Best Companies to Work Award (Prêmio Melhores Empresas para se Trabalhar, Você S/A).Contributed to the company becoming a reference for inclusion in the logistics sector, promoting benchmarking for competition and partner companies.

At VLI, I built a career in the communication department from trainee to technical leader, as a specialist, working on projects with diverse stakeholders and top leadership.Structured the press office, hired 3 communication agencies and supervised the work of 6 professionals.
