Over the past 18 months I have been working two days a week in this position for Visit The Broads, the destination marketing organisation for the Broads National Park. My role is very varied, and includes all the admin for the 100+ members - collecting subscription payments, updating listings on the website, day to day boookkeeping and VAT submissions, organising and running monthly board meetings and twice yearly members meetings.I also take on a lot of the marketing duties, creating and scheduling social media posts highlighting our member's offerings, responding to comments, updating event details, and artwork support. I create two Mailchimp newsletters per month, one for visitors who have subscribed for updates, and the other to members with latest news, events, PR and media requests, writing copy for publictaions. Plus so much more I can't list it all!I love working within the leisure industry, and thoroughly enjoy my role. I work remotely for the majority of the time, reporting my activity to the board each month. But I also get out to meet members and get to know their business model, to understand their needs and what support we can offer as a marketing group.We work very closely with the Broads Authority, I attend a monthly zoom meeting with their head of communications, so we are both fully up to date on what each other have planned and have been working on. This position works very well with my own graphic design business, which I still run.

I work for myself, from my home studio or within a clients’ s own setting as required. On a daily basis I produce creative solutions for print and web by designing websites and web elements, creating newsletters for both print and email, creating new logos and brand identities and a full range of design services. I have direct contact with all clients, from brief, to quote, to delivery, I am solely responsible for all my work, quoting and invoicing customers, as well as credit control.I use the Adobe Creative Suite on a daily basis, and have vast experience in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I have HTMLand CSS knowledge, I design, host and maintain a number of Wordpress websites, and have extended experience using Elementor. I have been learning video editing over the past few months using Permier Pro, mainly for my own development to keep the You Tube channel I started to document our house renovations over the past 2 years up to date.Please see my website: www.px2co.net for examples of my work.

While employed with the company I worked on a very wide variety of briefs, many have been seen through from concept to delivery. I have direct contact with clients and printers to enable me to manage entire projects, from producing the initial quote to print managing and dispatching the final article. I used programmes such as QuarkXpress, Photoshop and Illustrator on a daily basis, keeping my skills up to date by completing tutorials and trying new programmes.In May 2005, I was promoted to Studio Manager, a position where I was in complete control of production schedules and the design team. I was involved with recruiting three new members of staff, both in the CV selection and interview stages. I was responsible for the training of new staff.Our client list included many large organisations, which required designing within their corporate style, whilst still being able to produce something individual and eye-catching. I also created new identities and guidelines for others to follow.I have received training on database publishing and website design. I redesigned some of our clients’ existing websites, created new sites after winning pitches, and rebuilt our own company site. I also designed and produced HTML email newsletters and e-cards

I worked as part of a team of 7 photographers, producing images for internet auctions, using digital 35 mm SLR cameras. The images were imported through PhotoShop, cropped and saved at screen resolution, before uploading onto sothebys.com. Photographing between 40 and 50 lots per day this was a fast turnaround environment, and work had to be prioritised to meet strict deadlines.
