I worked on the Benefit Team handling FMLA and disability leaves for employees who require medical leaves, personal leaves, etc. I was the PTO specialist for JESI and handle changing PTO programs as well as performing audits or corrections. I was a team lead who was responsible for overseeing five people on my team who are responsible for inputting new hires, benefits, salary increases and all types of general HR responsibilities. Responsible for training new employees in the department. Preparing step-by-step instructions for handling all aspects of the job so the procedures could be completed in case of emergencies. Responsible for assisting employee's with needs such as coverage problems, 401(k) questions as well as our stock purchase program. I had to have a great working knowledge about all aspects of medical, tax information, leave of absence including FMLA, stock, 401(k) and whatever needs the customer might have.

Customer Account Representative, Information Specialist who assisted in setting up training for the Readiness Team. Trained the staff on updating publications, ordering of required forms, and updating the regulations in the squadron library.
