I’m a physicist and an illustrator.I’m captivated by the dynamic relationship between science and art, convinced that within their intersection lies a world of untapped creative potential waiting to be explored.Originally from Palermo, I delved into experimental quantum mechanics for my PhD in Vienna before embarking on a transformative journey into illustration in Barcelona, where I'm currently based.Challenging the confines of traditional scientific illustration, I aspire to transcend mere depiction, inviting viewers on a captivating voyage of 'illustrated science.' Each artwork serves as a playful invitation to delve into the enigmatic mysteries of science. This innovative approach led to my recognition with the XXI Premis Junceda in the Scientific Category by the Catalan Professional Illustration Association (APIC).Beyond science, I enjoy illustrating opinion pieces, crafting editorial visuals, and designing posters for theater productions.
