I was responsible for the administration of the financial system Area, and the consolidation of the legal entity numers for actual, budgeting and forecasting purposes. Through the knowledge of the company’s system, I was able to train and develop colleagues on the new system implemented at the end of 2008.The finance & reporting main tasks were:- Delivering correct financial and reporting data for the Area, and working closely to the Area Director on all commercial and operational issue;- Ensuring that the Area financial results are consolidated in the Regus internal reporting systems (HFM), and that balance sheets for all legal entities were coherent;- Provide Auditors with requested informations and cooperate with them;- Reporting and control of Malta Country for tax and administration;- Beein the guardian of the SUN accounting system – developing the knowledge at all finance team membersKey objectives are the accuracy of the data in the area P&L, (actual, budget and forecast data) in line with legal and corporate regulations and guidelines.Major responsabilities were:- Finalisation of the P&L for all business centres in the area as well as the overhead departements;- Finalisation of all legal entity balance sheet according to regus guidelines;- Full review of the P&L by centre and balance sheet, ensuring correct cut-off and posting adjustment as required;- Finalisation of year end adjustment and local compliance accounting including tax declarations- Prepare an accurate set of reports for management including: 1. Centre P&L and variance analysis, 2. Statistical analysis such as Occupancy, POW and PAW analysis, 3. lease and service charge analysis, 4.DSO data and pro-active debtor management.
