I began my career as a research & development scientist but quickly transitioned into managing brands, people, and projects for a Fortune 500 company. After taking a short break to focus on being a parent, I moved into education where I have spent over 15 years teaching students and mentoring staff. Each of these roles – scientist, manager, parent, educator – has shaped my approach to education and coaching.I am an Certified Academic Life Coach through Coach Training EDU, a highly respected, global coach training organization whose programs are accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).Other Credentials and Training: B.S. & M.S. in Chemistry; Lower Elementary Montessori Certification (NAMC); Positive Parenting (Amy McCready); Teaching Mindfulness to Children (Omega Institute); Facilitating Grief Support Groups For Youth & Young Adults (The Dougy Center – Summer Institute)My previous professional experience includes product development chemistry, consumer product marketing & international marketing management.
