Northern Weathermakers, HVAC, Inc. is a commercial HVAC company. The bulk of my duties included the following: - Created all billings for construction projects via AIA G702/G703 documents. - Set up all construction and service jobs. - Prepare waivers of lien and collect trailing waivers from subcontractors. - Made collection calls on past due accounts. - Inside sales support, including typing of proposals and maintenance agreements.

In charge of office equipment and their maint. contracts, as well as purchasing new equip.Implemented several cost-saving plans, i.e. phone service, long distance phone service, and paging & wireless services resulting in a 50% ongoing annual savings. Decreased office supply spending by 30% annually.Job setup for all projects, including ordering certificates of insurance & tax exemption certificates.Train personnel in the use of phone equipment, computers, & software.Coordinate promotional outings, along with materials, for management & customers.Additional responsibilities include developing & updating a wide range of documents & databases including AIA Forms, Certified Payroll forms, several types of waivers of lien, and maint. of customer & vendor databases.

GlassWorks designs and creates custom glass (tables, shelving, etc.) and mirrors. - Accounts Receivable responsibilities: invoicing, billing statement, payroll, bank reconciliation, month-end reports (A/R and A/P ledgers). - Accounts Payable responsibilities: matching bills with receivers, paying all bills, collections, run aging reports. - Customer service: writing contracts; quotations over telephone; scheduling sales calls; open mail; computer operations; batch Visa/MasterCard.
