Hi, I’m Ella, an Indonesian of Chinese and Dutch descent who has been living in Melbourne since 2013. Studying in international schools and living abroad on my own has allowed me to evaluate different cultural pedagogical perspectives, variety of social behaviours, experience many kinds of learning environments, develop a unique set of skills, and build meaningful connections. I have a natural affinity for children and am currently setting out to improve my pedagogical and inclusive education skills to become a better Early Childhood Educator. The past has taught me about love, compassion, and forgiveness. I want to show children what love is; respecting them, attending to their needs as well as shaping them to be better. I hope to assist in making our future generation grow to be well-educated individuals with good character and heart.Combining my design skills and passion for working with children, I plan to create spaces that are rich and nurturing for children's play and exploration.
