Hired to establish a New York office for global strategic innovation and experience design firm. As Head of the NYC office, oversaw hiring, staffing, and culture-building initiatives during high-growth phase from 0 to more than 25 employees, as well as office/team integration following Idea Couture’s acquisition by Cognizant. As AVP of Strategy, led multi-disciplinary teams of business strategists, foresight strategists, designers, and anthropologists on projects from proposal to prototype. Managed client relationships, ran East Coast business development efforts, and wrote thought leadership articles for IC’s Insight & Foresight Magazine, MISC.

Approached by former manager to co-found and define vision for boutique innovation and growth consultancy. Saw company through formation; supported business development efforts by developing sales collateral and leading sales calls; wrote all thought leadership pieces; and held sole responsibility for project execution and client management.

Worked with Fortune 500 companies to catalyze top-line growth through product, service, and business model innovation. Conducted primary and secondary consumer research, developed and articulated innovation and growth strategies, and built commercial cases for each solution. Interacted regularly with and presented to executive clients.

Hired by a Private Equity fund to develop business plan, positioning, and marketing strategy for portfolio company Dukky, a direct response marketing software startup. Developed and managed Enterprise sales relationships.

Led development, administration, and analysis of extensive quantitative and qualitative research for retail and pharmaceutical clients. Derived insights that informed marketing strategy and tactics, and managed vendor and client relationships.
