C.A. Fortune is a privately held consumer brand agency specializing in “better for you” brands, offering brokerage services, e-Commerce, brand incubation, client development, sales management, analytics, and retail activation. Grown organically and via multiple acquisitions, C.A. Fortune grew exponentially over the past 3 years. My role was added to strengthen and unify culture, develop the leadership team, enhance the employment experience, build a human resources team and technology infrastructure to replace PEO, improve the M&A onboarding process, and implement workforce planning and productivity initiatives.

CareerBuilder is a $535M technology marketplace, employing a global workforce of 3000, across 15 countries and five brands (Broadbean, Textkernel, Workterra, CB Employment Screening, and CareerBuilder Talent Solutions). I reported directly to the CEO, was as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and led a global HR team of 30 to enhance the employee experience, develop employees, and drive employee engagement. After private equity acquisition by Apollo Global Management in 2017, the global workforce went through rapid business transformation with goals to grow EBITDA, efficiency, and client growth.

Oshkosh Corporation is a large specialty vehicle manufacturer with 12,000+ employees. My role focused on the creation of short and long term roadmaps to modernize the Human Resources technology and system architecture. Led HR team members from five business divisions to redesign employment lifecycle processes using lean methodology and ADKAR change management model with emphasis on the employment experience.

Joined CareerBuilder as the fifth member of the Human Resources team in 2003 when CareerBuilder had 400 employees and $73M in annual revenue. CareerBuilder became an employer of choice in 2007, winning many “Best Places to Work” awards over the next several years. As the business scaled globally to 3300 employees at its peak, I was promoted into leadership roles where I designed cross functional HR programs to support and accelerate scaling the business and culture while building an HR team that delivered superb employee experience. CareerBuilder was an early adopter of Workday, and my team frequently acted as design partners for new modules and functionality. I often spoke at the Workday Rising user conference and the annual HR Technology convention.
