I am the IT Manager and Litigation Support Manager at Grimshaw & Co, one of New Zealand’s largest pure litigation law firms. I help the firm’s solicitors to navigate the discovery process and liaise with service providers. I am also a senior legal secretary for Grimshaw & Co. My thirteen years’ experience as a legal secretary gives me an excellent base knowledge to assist the firm with legal and office support. I have always had a strong interest in IT, and after gaining experience over a number of years, I was able to take on the role of IT Manager in 2014. In this role I am responsible for roadmap planning, desktop support, and ensuring the servers, phones and printers are operating correctly.There is also a marketing component to my role, including managing content updates for our website, and planning our advertising. In my 16 years with Grimshaw & Co I evolved from a junior office role, to a senior legal secretary, and now the firm’s IT Manager and Litigation Support Manager.I enjoy furthering my knowledge of the finance side of the business and hope to expand this in the future.
